This was a fantastic book, full of witty remarks and sexy dialogue banter. The chemistry between Brody and Delilah is addicting and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. This is one of those books you don’t want to put down.

Synopsis:
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera. The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me. When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me. But I don’t date players.  And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football. I’d date an athlete.  It’s the other kind of player I don’t date. You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.

Brody Easton was the ultimate player. Every woman wanted to be the one to change him. But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for. Turned out, I was that girl. Simple right? Let’s face it. It never is. There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after… And this one is ours.

Review:
Delilah has worked hard to get where she is. A sports journalist in a male dominated profession, to say she puts up with a lot is an understatement. A sexist jerk for a boss and a sports legend for a Dad, talking to cocky football players should be a breeze. But it is anything but when interviewing Brody.

Brody is an arrogant football player. He knows how exactly how good looking he is and isn’t afraid to use his ‘assets’ to his advantage. I thought with his unruly behavior and comments, I would start this book hating Brody’s character. But in fact, I’m already rooting for him after just reading two chapters. There is something about his confidence that is extremely entertaining and sexy to read.

I LOVED the interactions between Brody and Delilah!! The verbal banter was exciting, full of innuendo and flirtation. At first I thought Brody and Delilah had similar backstories. And Although Delilah’s past is trying to stay behind her, I quickly realized Brody’s never quite ended. And the heartache of Brody’s past is so sad. Reading about Willow from his perspective, the reader gets the perfect image of young love. But the author takes it further by wrapping hope and second chances around it. And then to read what happens next, let’s say it really touched my heart.

I wish I could give you more detail but I don’t want to give too much away. My recommendation is to read the book. The plot is funny, sexy, and a fun read. The author has a way with words and it doesn’t take much before you are sucked in. I’ve read a couple books by this author and she is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Check out the book, you are sure to laugh, smile, and read a sexy story that is difficult to put down.
