Review:
To be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about this book. The plot was amazing. It was creative and a mix between romancing the stone and Indiana Jones. The romantic side of the story is what irritated me. The main character is 18 but the way she acts, It’s almost like she is a thirteen year old girl who has just come across her first crush. I think the author was trying to have the reader feel some sympathy for the main character but I had the opposite reaction. Because of her insecurities, she pushes away an attractive prince but then cries and gets mad at him because he is upset with her constant cold/hot/cold behavior. It wasn’t until the last chapter that I understood why the main character couldn’t be with the prince. But the book might have been better if this understanding was made clearer.
