Synopsis:

Gwendolyn Kidd has met the man of her dreams. He’s hot, he’s sexy, and what started as a no-names-exchanged night of passion has blossomed into a year and a half-long pleasure fest. Sure, it’s a little strange that he only appears in her bed at night, but Gwen is so sure he’s the one, she just can’t turn him away…

Hawk Delgado knows more about Gwen than she could ever imagine. She’s gorgeous, headstrong, and skittish about relationships. But Hawk is facing his own demons, demons that keep him from connecting with anyone. Yet when Gwen is drawn into Denver’s lethal underground scene, Hawk’s protective nature comes out full force. The problem is, when Gwen gets a dose of Hawk’s Alpha attitude in the daylight, she’s not so sure he’s the one anymore….

Review:

First off let me say Gwen is annoying! She sounds more like a dumb reckless teenager than a grown adult. For example, she is more worried about looking pretty and that a guy thinks she is cute than the kind of situation she is getting herself in or that her life is in danger. Yet three attractive guys want her. Second, Hawks character is unattractive. When someone says no or says things are over, it does not mean they are playing hard to get. His actions are more stalkerish than romantic alpha male. The plot of this book is ridiculous! Once Gwen finally gets her head out of her ass and decides to be done with Hawk, all the other characters in the book regardless if they were/are anti-hawk tell her she is making a mistake and should take him back. I couldn’t finish the book. I’m sorry, this book is simply not for me!
